truly amazing! hard to pick a favorite track, but if I have to pick one it would be this. entire album is epic!

Wistful is one of those albums that truly lives up to its name. Sylvaine's compositions are grand, full of deep melancholy and translucent emotionality. From the first second, you will be abducted, tied up and sent on a journey, to find something. What exactly it is? That seems to be up to you. I personally find rest, peace. Introspection, meditation. Like its follow-up Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone, Wistful is a crystalline gem of the blackgaze genre with a solid amount of doom atmosphere.

It really is wistful. Also powerful, beautiful, and complex. Doomgaze is an apt descriptor for this kind of yearning yet assertive music.

you should listen to the album in one sitting. It's an overall great journey, and I'm really impressed by the vocals (clean & screams) . And neige Dose an grate job as well tying everything together with his dreamlike guitar riffs.
